The Medical Saunas Medical 6 Plus V2 is a corner-format full spectrum infrared sauna built from natural hemlock, with a five-sided front that fits into a room corner. The exterior measures 66 in wide by 66 in deep by 77 in high with a 62 x 62 x 68 in interior, and the cabin weighs 625 lb. A full-height tempered glass door sits in the angled center panel, flanked by two narrow tempered glass windows, and a projecting roof trim with recessed exterior downlights finishes the top of the cabin. The door opens with a curved wooden handle.
Twelve infrared heaters are arranged around the interior: full spectrum heater columns behind slatted hemlock guards on the rear walls and beside the windows, carbon panels in the guards below the L-shaped corner bench, and a floor heater beneath the slatted footrest, so heat reaches the back, sides, legs and feet from every direction. The sauna runs on 120 V household power with a total draw of 2,250 W. The interior digital control panel is mounted on the wall beside the door and sets temperature and session time, and the cabin is rated to 140°F.
The L-shaped bench runs along both rear walls and seats four to six people. The cabin includes a color-changing chromotherapy light, an interior reading light, a ceiling speaker system with Bluetooth and MP3 input, and a roof vent. Panels join with clasp-together connectors for indoor assembly on a level floor.
