The MassaMAX MT339 is a full-body massage chair built around a 4D roller mechanism with four depth settings that travels a 53-inch SL-shaped track from the neck down the back and under the seat to the thighs. A body scan detects shoulder position before each session and adjusts roller placement and back width for users from 5 feet to 6 feet 3. What sets the MT339 apart from similar chairs is that its program library is not fixed: 22 auto programs are built in, 5 more download over the air from MassaMAX's cloud server, and the manufacturer adds new sequences to the library periodically, so the chair's program count grows after purchase.

Eleven manual techniques cover kneading, two tapping speeds, knead-and-tap, two shiatsu modes, grasp, and four 4D depth levels. Thirty-two airbags at the shoulders, arms, buttocks, calves, and feet apply compression at three pressure levels, and foot rollers work the soles while calf airbags wrap the legs. A graphene heating panel warms the lower back. The footrest extends automatically to leg length, and a stretch program coordinates the backrest and footrest to pull the body through a yoga-style stretch.

Three zero-gravity stages progressively raise the legs to and above heart level, and a space-saving track lets the chair recline fully with just under 2 inches of clearance behind it. Controls are on a 7-inch backlit touchscreen mounted on a flexible arm beside the chair, a quick-access dial on the armrest, the MassaMAX app, and built-in voice commands. The chair includes a Bluetooth speaker in the headrest and an LED accent strip on each side panel. Upholstery is polyurethane leather in deep black; other colorways are sold separately.
