The Medical Saunas Medical 3 is a one-person indoor full spectrum infrared sauna built from natural hemlock. The exterior measures 39 in wide by 36 in deep by 77 in high, the interior 36 x 32 x 66.5 in, and the cabin weighs 295 lb, a footprint that fits a bedroom corner, bathroom or home office. A tempered glass door opens into a cabin with a deep bench and built-in backrest, and a roof vent lets you adjust airflow during a session.
Six full spectrum infrared heaters surround the seat so heat reaches the back, sides and legs. The sauna runs on standard 120 V household power at 1,450 W and plugs into a regular 15 A outlet, so no electrician is needed as long as the circuit is not shared with other high-draw appliances. The manufacturer rates the heat-up time at about 40 minutes. The interior touch-style LED control panel sets temperature and session time.
The cabin includes color-changing chromotherapy lighting, an interior reading light, and a built-in speaker system with Bluetooth and an MP3 input. Panels join with clasp-together connectors for assembly on a dry, level indoor floor, and the sauna carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
