® Forge 1-Person: Traditional Finnish Sauna

The SaunaBox Forge is a 1-person traditional Finnish sauna cabin built for outdoor installation, with a 100% Canadian hemlock interior inside matte black aluminum paneling over a cedar frame. Heat comes from a wall-mounted Harvia Vega Compact BU 3.5 kW electric heater, a Finnish commercial-grade unit rated by Harvia for rooms of 70.5 to 175 cubic feet. From a cold start the cabin reaches 170°F in approximately 25 minutes and its 220°F maximum in approximately 40 minutes, and water can be ladled over the included stones for a burst of steam. The heater is hardwired to a dedicated 240V circuit and must be connected by a licensed electrician; a 1.9 kW / 120V heater configuration is available on request.

Inside, a single hemlock bench with an S-shaped ergonomic backrest sits at 26.4 inches, on elevated slatted wood flooring, with internal standing height of 72.8 inches. Color-selectable RGB LED strips run under the bench and overhead. Ventilation is active: a 60W fan works with a floor-level intake and ceiling exhaust vent to circulate air in a continuous convection loop, with a louvered black vent panel on the exterior for passive airflow. The full-length black-tinted tempered glass door measures 23.6 by 65 inches and hangs on matte black hinges with a horizontal pull handle; all hardware, including the vent panel and accessories, is finished in matte black.

The Forge is weather-resistant for year-round outdoor use in rain, sun, and snow, and can also be installed indoors in a garage, basement, or dedicated room. Raised feet provide ground clearance for drainage and airflow beneath the cabin. It must be placed on a level, load-bearing surface such as a concrete pad, composite or pressure-treated deck, pavers, or compacted gravel, not directly on soil or grass. Assembly takes approximately 1 to 2 hours with two people and basic hand tools. Sauna rocks, a water bucket and ladle, and a wooden foot stool are included.
