Overview
This is a hard-shell multiplace hyperbaric chamber operating from 1.00 to 2.00 ATA, electronically adjustable in 0.01 ATA increments, with oxygen delivered to each occupant through a Built-In Breathing System (BIBS) mask or hood rather than by pressurising the chamber itself with oxygen.
That distinction is the whole architecture. In a BIBS chamber the vessel is pressurised with air while occupants breathe oxygen through a sealed mask, so the chamber atmosphere stays close to normal. Airvida caps internal oxygen at 23.5% and fits an automatic cutover to air if internal oxygen exceeds that threshold — an engineering control acting on the oxygen supply itself, not a procedure someone has to remember.
Expandable, not fixed. The chamber ships as a 2-person unit and expands to 4 or 6 persons using modular ring sections. It is designed to be disassembled and reassembled on site and to pass through standard doorways, so capacity is a decision that can be revisited rather than one locked in at purchase.
Systems. Two 650 LPM air compressors and two oxygen concentrators producing 1,200 Lph at 93% ±3% O₂, with BIBS delivery at 40 L/min and ventilation flow of 125–400 L/min. Built-in air and oxygen reserve tanks, UVC sterilisation and high-purity oxygen filtration. A water cooler is included.
Monitoring and control. CO₂ and O₂ sensors, airflow and safety sensors, an automatic ear equaliser, and control panels both inside and outside the chamber — so an occupant is not dependent on an operator to know what the chamber is doing. A data logger records session history. An internal camera and a two-way communication system with phone access connect occupants to the operator.
Safety. Two manual pressure release valves, automatic door sealing, emergency stop buttons inside and outside, and emergency depressurisation at approximately 0.015 bar/s.
Interior. Premium leather reclining seats for sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, an LED lighting system with mood lighting, a Smart TV, device connections and two USB ports.
Construction is aluminium, with a steel option. The chamber is manufactured in Europe and carries CE marking, ASME PVHO-1, ISO, TÜV NORD and ENAC certification.
