Overview

The Airvida Pro90 is a soft-shell hyperbaric chamber with adjustable pressure from 1.2 to 1.5 ATA, built around a seated format and rated by Airvida as a dual-occupancy chamber — one adult and one child, or two smaller adults.

That rating is the design premise rather than a marketing line. At 230 × 120 × 120 cm (91" × 48" × 48") the Pro90 is substantially larger than a typical single-occupant soft-shell chamber, which is what makes a parent-and-child session or two smaller adults practical rather than merely possible.

Construction. High-strength TPU in the 1.4 ATA configuration; a customised multi-layer high-strength TPU in the 1.5 ATA build. Access is through dual YKK zippers in an arc-shaped configuration with silicone seal strips. Large double-layered viewing windows are set into the top and sides, so an occupant isn't enclosed in an opaque shell and an attendant can see in.

Pressure control and safety. An adjustable pressure knob is paired with a dual pressure gauge showing internal and external readings synchronously, so pressure is legible to both the occupant and whoever is outside — not a detail to take for granted on a two-person chamber. Metal internal and external relief valves are fitted, and emergency valves allow exit from the chamber in 30 seconds.

Interior. A slow-rebound memory foam mattress and chair, a padded reclining chair with adjustable positions, and a support frame.

Weight: 15 kg (33 lb) in the 1.4 ATA configuration, 17 kg (37 lb) at 1.5 ATA.
