Overview

The Airvida Radiance is a full-body LED light bed delivering 360-degree coverage — front and back simultaneously, with no repositioning partway through a session.

The output is where this bed separates itself. The array carries 18,000 professional-grade LEDs across five wavelengths — 633 nm and 660 nm in the red band, 810 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm in the near-infrared — for a total system power of 1,760 W and a measured irradiance of 129 mW/cm². In practical terms that is 78 J/cm² delivered in a 10-minute session, or 155 J/cm² in 20 minutes. Those are the numbers that determine what a session actually delivers, and they are the basis on which light beds should be compared.

Irradiance that high is a function of the optics as much as the emitters. The panels are Lucite® acrylic with up to 99% light transmittance, so very little of what the array produces is lost between the LED and the body. Airvida's Stimu-LED arrangement distributes that output around the full 360 degrees.

Thermal management is built for the load. Seven plasma cooling fans manage heat across the array during operation, with a separate client cooling feature — which matters on a 1,760 W machine running back-to-back sessions.

Sessions are configured from an LCD intelligent touchscreen with an adjustable 0–30 minute timer, continuous or adjustable pulsed output, and a commercial control system with external controls. A music system supporting MP3, Bluetooth and USB is built in.

LEDs are rated for 100,000+ hours — the service life that makes a commercial duty cycle economic.

Built to commercial standards at 617 lbs, measuring 88.98" long by 49.61" wide by 37.80" high, on wheels for repositioning. It runs on either single-phase 220 V, direct wired, or three-phase 380 V — so it can be installed in facilities without three-phase service.

Before You Buy

Measure your doorways first. The Radiance requires 48" of doorway width. On a 617 lb bed this is the single most likely reason an installation fails, so check every door, corridor turn and lift on the route before ordering.

Confirm the electrical work. Single-phase 220 V is direct wired — an electrician is required either way. Confirm the circuit rating for a 1,760 W system with your installer.

Establish eye protection. An 18,000-LED bed at 129 mW/cm² is a substantial light source. Confirm whether protective eyewear is supplied and required, and build it into your session protocol.

Agree a client screening protocol covering photosensitivity, photosensitising medication, pregnancy and any eye condition, before the first session.
