The Airvida Ultra is a single-occupant hard-shell hyperbaric chamber in a lying configuration, with four selectable pressure settings — 1.3, 1.5, 1.7 and 2.0 ATA — chosen at an adjustable pressure switch valve.
Construction is stainless steel with an aircraft-grade polycarbonate shell, giving large transparent panels along the chamber's length. For a full-length supine session that changes the experience considerably: the occupant lies in natural light with a clear view out rather than inside an opaque tube, and an attendant can see in at any point without opening anything.
Monitoring. Digital data displays are fitted inside and outside the chamber, showing oxygen purity, temperature and humidity — so the occupant is not dependent on someone else to know the chamber's condition, and the operator can verify oxygen delivery is performing as expected.
Safety. A smart door safety sensor prevents the chamber operating until the door is fully closed. Extra-quiet pressure relief valves handle pressure management without the noise hard chambers are often criticised for, and check valves are fitted for leak detection and verified at installation.
Three widths are offered, all approximately 89" (220 cm) long: Ultra 30 at 30" (75 cm), Ultra 34 at 34", and Ultra 36 at 36" (90 cm) — so the chamber can be matched to the occupant's build and the room it has to fit.
Oxygen is supplied by an external concentrator, controlled from the chamber's internal board with adjustable flow. The concentrator is not included and is specified separately.

Before You Buy
Budget for the oxygen concentrator. It is not supplied with this chamber and must be specified separately. Confirm with Airvida which concentrator models are compatible and what output the chamber expects — and note that the other Airvida chambers in this range do include one, so don't assume parity.
The pressure settings are discrete, not continuous. If your protocol needs a pressure between the four available steps, this is not the chamber for it.
Confirm the regulatory position for your jurisdiction and intended use with your own counsel. Hyperbaric chambers are regulated as prescription devices in the United States, and Airvida's own guidance is that consultation with and approval by a doctor is required before hyperbaric use.
Ask for contraindications and a screening protocol. Untreated pneumothorax is an absolute contraindication to hyperbaric exposure; ear and sinus barotrauma is the common adverse event.
Check your insurance extends to hyperbaric equipment before purchase.
