Overview
The Antarctica Barrel is a whole body cryotherapy chamber in a barrel-form enclosure, cooled entirely by electric refrigeration. There is no liquid nitrogen anywhere in the system — no cylinders or dewars to store and secure, no delivery schedule, no gas supplier to depend on, no per-session consumable cost, and no oxygen-displacement hazard in the room.
Two configurations are offered. The Simple runs a single compressor to approximately −80 °C (−112 °F) and is built for moderate-volume wellness and recovery use. The Grand runs dual compressors to approximately −110 °C (−166 °F) for premium and higher-volume facilities. Sessions typically run two to three minutes.
Operation runs from a large Android-based touchscreen, 13.6" to 15.6", with an extended temperature display and integrated LED cabin illumination. The chamber is Wi-Fi connected, so it can be monitored and controlled remotely from a mobile app, and sessions and operating hours can be scheduled rather than managed at the machine. For an operator running a floor of equipment, or more than one location, that changes how the chamber fits into the day.
Both configurations require three-phase power — 400 V/50 Hz or 208 V/60 Hz — and a water and drain connection. An external water chiller is available as an option.

Before You Buy
Confirm the water and drain rough-in with the manufacturer before the plumber quotes. Published connection sizes vary between sources, and the difference between a ½" and a 2" drain is a different installation. Get the specification in writing for your configuration.
Three-phase power is required, and the current differs by model — up to 25 A per phase for the Simple, up to 30 A for the Grand. If you add the external chiller, it needs its own 3.5 kWh three-phase supply, so budget two provisions, not one.
Allow for the door. The chamber is 223 cm long, but needs 330 cm (130") of clearance with the door open. Plan the room around the larger figure.
Plan the delivery route. 500–650 kg and 240 cm tall — check doorway height, lift capacity and floor loading before the truck arrives.
Sessions are attended. This chamber is designed for operator-supervised use.
Confirm warranty terms at order. Coverage isn't published for this model, and this manufacturer's extended warranty on other equipment is only available within a short window after purchase — settle it before you place the order.
