The Antarctica Electric is a head-out whole body cryotherapy chamber that reaches cryogenic temperatures using an electric refrigeration circuit — heat exchanger, compressor, liquid separator and evaporator — rather than liquid nitrogen. The client stands in the chamber with their head above the rim, so the airway stays in ambient room air.
Removing nitrogen removes an entire operating burden. There are no cylinders or dewars to store, no delivery schedule to manage, no gas supplier to depend on, no consumable cost per session, and no oxygen-displacement risk from the cooling medium. What the chamber needs instead is a three-phase electrical supply and a room kept at normal air-conditioned humidity.
Cooling is rated at up to −100 °C (−148 °F) depending on version. The chamber runs a precooling cycle of up to 60 minutes before the first session of the day; once at temperature, Vacuactivus rates it for 12 or more hours of continuous operation, which is what a commercial appointment book requires. A fast-defrost system and double-glazed thermal insulation are standard.
Operation runs from a 10.1" commercial control panel with fully automated session control and a Turbo mode that extends fan speed.
Two configurations are offered. The Simple uses a single compressor in a 1870 mm cabinet and draws up to 25 A per phase at up to 8.5 kWh. The Grand uses dual compressors in a 2230 mm cabinet at up to 30 A per phase and 12.5 kWh. Both are available air-cooled or water-cooled.

Common to both: head-out design, client's head remains in ambient air · heat exchanger / compressor / liquid separator / evaporator circuit · fast defrost · double-glazed thermal insulation · rated for 12+ hours continuous operation · ergonomic interior · no liquid nitrogen, cylinders or dewars required.
Water-cooled versions require: 3/4" PVC water supply line and a 2" drain line.
Site requirements: normal air conditioning to maintain low humidity in the installation room.
