The SunRay Burlington is a two-person far infrared sauna built for a backyard patio or deck. The cabin is solid Canadian hemlock with a sealed weatherproof exterior finish, and a pitched metal composite roof with wide overhangs sheds rain and snow; the whole unit stands on wooden skids that lift the floor off the ground. A full-height tempered glass door with a wooden handle opens onto a 43 x 41 inch interior with a single deep bench across the rear wall. Six carbon far infrared heaters draw 1,900 W: three tall arched panels on the back wall behind the bench, panels on the side walls, and one in the front below the bench for the legs, bringing the cabin to a maximum of 140°F. A digital control panel on the interior wall sets session time and temperature in Fahrenheit, with buttons for the Bluetooth sound system, FM radio, and lighting, plus a USB port. Overhead, a red light panel and a recessed white LED sit beside a slotted roof vent, and an oxygen ionization unit on the wall freshens the air. Two cup holders and a wall-mounted speaker with its own volume dial complete the interior. The Burlington requires a dedicated 110–120 V, 20 A circuit and is ETL/CSA certified for the US and Canada. Two people can assemble it in about two hours with a screwdriver. SunRay backs the structure with a 10-year warranty and parts and electronics for 1 year.
