COMO — Eco Foam Hot Tub

A rigid octagonal foam spa for six, with the heater built into the body rather than bolted on outside. No separate heater box to find space for, no external unit to plumb — the tub is one piece, and it sets up in about 20 minutes with no tools.

Built-in heater, thicker walls
The 1,800 W eco heater is integrated into the tub itself, which is what allows the clean octagonal silhouette. The body is woven UV-protected PVC over a 12 cm (4.7") PU-insulated foam core, so the wall is both the structure and the insulation — it holds its shape without a frame and keeps ambient cold off the water. Wave rates the heater to bring the water up at about 1.5°C (2.7°F) per hour to a maximum of 40°C (104°F).

90-jet bubble massage
Wave's Bubble Jet Massage System runs 90 air jets around the shell, with water circulating at 1,325 litres (350 gallons) per hour through Wave's WaveFlow™ dual circulation system and a screw-on threaded filter.

Control it from your phone
The SmartSpa™ app gives Wi-Fi control of heating and functions, so you can bring the spa up to temperature before you get home rather than waiting once you're there.

FrostFree™ freeze protection
Automatic cold-weather protection guards the spa during frosty spells — the safeguard that lets a foam spa stay outside through the winter instead of being drained and packed away.

Siting
Set the spa on a flat, level surface that can carry the filled load. The water alone weighs about 2,170 lb, and with six bathers the total is over 3,250 lb across roughly 34 square feet — around 96 lb per square foot. Do not place it on a deck, balcony or raised structure without having the structure assessed. Clear any sharp objects from under and around the tub before setting up, and avoid grass or bare soil, which pushes debris into the water.

2 years on the pump and heater, 1 year on the liner.

Who it's for
Households that want a six-person spa without pouring a slab or hiring an electrician for a hard-wired install — and who want it to stay usable in cold weather rather than being a summer-only item.

Before you use it
Never let the water exceed 104°F (40°C). Keep sessions short — prolonged immersion in hot water may be injurious to your health — and get out if you feel dizzy, drowsy or nauseated. Do not use alcohol, drugs or medication before or during use; they can cause drowsiness and unconsciousness in hot water, with a risk of drowning. Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems or diabetes. Pregnant women should keep the water no higher than 100°F and sessions to around 10 minutes. Children overheat much faster than adults and must be supervised at all times; keep the cover on and secured whenever the spa is unattended. Do not use immediately after strenuous exercise, never use the spa alone, and keep electrical appliances well away from the water.
