CryoCloud P100 — Dry Cold Therapy Bed, 41–43 °F, No Water Contact

CryoCloud is a recovery bed that delivers cold immersion temperatures without the water ever touching you. Rather than submerging, the user reclines fully clothed on a cushioned membrane while precision-cooled channels circulate beneath, holding an operating temperature of 41–43 °F (4–6 °C) — cold plunge range, in a completely dry environment.

The membrane does two things at once. Because the body rests on a patented flexible membrane supported by liquid beneath, the surface conforms and distributes weight, producing a floating sensation at the same time as the cooling. The platform lowers 9.1 inches to settle the user into that supported position.

The operational argument is the strongest one. There is no tank to drain, no filtration to manage, no chemistry to balance, no shared bathing water, and no shower or changing facility required — users arrive clothed and leave clothed. For a facility, that removes most of the recurring labour and hygiene overhead that cold plunges and float tanks carry, and removes the changing-room requirement that limits where they can be installed.

Controls are by touchscreen and remote, adjusting temperature and cycling integrated chromotherapy lighting, with an emergency stop fitted.

The system holds 500 litres (132 gallons) of clean potable water in its closed circuit, cooled by a 3 HP industrial chiller rated at 3,080 W. It cools at roughly 18 °F per hour and requires a minimum two-hour pre-cool from room temperature before the first session of the day.

Supported user weight is 661 lb (300 kg).

Before You Buy

This is a hard-wired commercial installation, not a plug-in appliance. It requires 220–240 V on a dedicated 16 A circuit, installed by a certified electrician. Standard 110 V outlets are expressly prohibited. Confirm the supply before ordering.

Delivery requires a forklift. Plan the unloading and the route in advance.

Check floor loading. Confirm the bed's dry weight with the manufacturer — the spec sheet and manual differ — and calculate the filled figure, since 500 litres of water alone is roughly 1,100 lb before the bed and the user.

Plan the pre-cool into your schedule. Two hours from cold start. For a facility, that means switching on well before the first booking or holding temperature between sessions.

Use only approved cleaning products. CaviWipes and silicone-safe quaternary ammonium disinfectants. Bleach and chlorine cleaners, acetone, MEK and petroleum solvents will damage the membrane and void warranty cover.

Brief every user to remove jewellery, watches, belts and keys. Membrane punctures, cuts and tears from sharp objects are explicitly excluded from the warranty — this is the most likely uncovered failure on the machine.

Fill only with clean potable water. Salt water, pool chemicals, chlorine additives, antifreeze and essential oils are all prohibited.

Client Screening and Safety

The manufacturer states plainly that cold exposure may not be appropriate for everyone, and that failure to screen users beforehand increases the risk of discomfort, injury or medical complications.

Do not use in cases of: pregnancy · recent heart attack · unstable cardiovascular disease · severe or uncontrolled hypertension · cryoglobulinemia · cold urticaria (cold-induced hives) · active infection with fever.

Minimum user age is 18.

End the session immediately in the event of chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, or any sign of distress.
