Overview
The CryoStar is a whole body nitrogen cryotherapy chamber operating between −120 °C and −170 °C (−184 °F to −274 °F), making it the coldest chamber in the range. It is an open-head design: the client stands with their head and airway above the rim, in ambient room air, so no respiratory equipment is worn.
Cooling comes from liquid nitrogen distributed through a heat exchange system, consuming approximately 3–5 kg per session or precooling cycle. Because the cooling energy comes from the nitrogen rather than the grid, electrical demand is modest — approximately 1.5 kW on a standard 110V/60Hz or 220V/50Hz supply, up to 20 A. No three-phase service and no electrical upgrade are required. That is the trade this architecture makes: minimal electrical infrastructure in exchange for a nitrogen supply contract and per-session consumption.
Sessions run from a 10.1" touch panel with three automatic programs and one manual program, and typically last one to three minutes. The door opens automatically, operated either by remote control or by a button mounted on the door itself.
The chamber measures 2600 mm (102") long by 1020 mm (40") wide by 2315 mm (92") high with the door closed, and weighs 450 kg (990 lb), 600 kg (1,322 lb) crated.

Before You Buy
Choose the configuration on the oxygen sensor, not the price. The Simple configuration does not include oxygen monitoring. On a liquid nitrogen chamber this is the specification to think hardest about.
Room ventilation and ambient oxygen monitoring are the operator's responsibility. Nitrogen displaces oxygen, and the chamber's controls govern the cabin, not the room it stands in. Confirm with the manufacturer and your local authority what room air-change rate and ambient oxygen monitoring your installation requires, and note that a chamber-fitted sensor is not necessarily a room monitor — establish which you are getting.
Plan the nitrogen supply. Budget 3–5 kg per session or precooling cycle, and arrange dewar storage, securing, changeover and delivery access before the chamber arrives.
Protective clothing is worn for every session. In an open-head chamber the extremities sit in the coldest air — socks, gloves and undergarments are standard practice.
Sessions are attended. This chamber is designed for operator-supervised use.
Confirm the configuration name on your order. The third configuration appears as both "Grand M" and "Grand+" depending on the source.
Access and installation. 600 kg crated and 2315 mm tall — check doorway height, lift capacity and floor loading on the delivery route.
Confirm warranty terms in writing before ordering.
