Iceberg 50L Local CRYO Nitrogen — Localized Cryotherapy with Integrated Red Light Facial

Overview

The Iceberg 50L is a nitrogen-powered localized cryotherapy system delivering targeted dry nitrogen vapor to approximately −160 °C (−256 °F) through a handheld applicator. That is a depth of cold electric localized systems cannot reach, and it is the reason operators choose a nitrogen unit for spot work.

Nitrogen is drawn from a built-in 50-litre tank at approximately 1–2 kg per session. The 50L doubles the tank capacity of the Iceberg 25L, which in a busy room translates directly into more sessions between refills and fewer interruptions to the appointment book.

The unit also carries an integrated red light facial treatment feature, so a single machine covers both cold work and red light on the face without a second device or a second trolley.

Treatment is configured from a smart touchscreen with preset and adjustable programs, four cold vapor intensity levels, and separate face and body programs with individual body-part submenus — so an operator selects the area rather than dialling in settings from scratch.

Three systems govern safe application. A skin temperature sensor measures the client's skin during treatment and raises a red alarm if it is overcooled. Projected red light on the skin indicates the correct distance between nozzle and tissue. And on the Grand configuration, a thermal imaging handle with its own display shows how the skin is actually cooling as the operator works.

The applicator is an ergonomic handle on a thermo-insulated hose. The unit stands 1590 mm (63") tall on a wheeled base and rolls between rooms. It runs from a standard 220V/50Hz or 110V/60Hz outlet at approximately 2.5 kW, up to 20 A — a regular socket, no dedicated circuit and no electrical work.

Before You Buy

The extended warranty has a 10-day window. Coverage extends to three years only if purchased within 10 days. The standard term is one year on body, motors and parts.

Plan the nitrogen supply and the refill routine. At 1–2 kg per session against a 50 L tank, work out your realistic refill interval and arrange dewar delivery, storage and changeover before the machine arrives.

Room ventilation. Nitrogen displaces oxygen, and a localized unit vents vapor into the treatment room. Confirm the air-change rate your installation needs, and consider an ambient oxygen monitor for small or windowless rooms.

Confirm the configuration. The thermal imaging handle is the principal difference between configurations; confirm exactly what each includes before ordering.

Confirm the touchscreen size, which is published inconsistently between sources.

Operator training. Nitrogen vapor at −160 °C can cause cold injury quickly at the wrong distance or dwell time. The distance indicator and skin temperature alarm exist to manage that; confirm what training is provided with the unit and who delivers it.
