The Osaki JP-Nexus 4D is assembled in Japan from Japanese-sourced components and built around a 4D roller mechanism that varies speed, depth, and rhythm as it travels an SL-shaped track from the neck down the back and under the seat to the glutes. The mechanism responds to muscle resistance, easing off over bony areas and pressing deeper into tight muscle, and an automatic body scan measures shoulder height before each session so the rollers land in the right place for users from 5 feet to 6 feet 3.

Thirty-four air cells at the shoulders, arms, lumbar, waist, calves, and feet apply compression in coordination with the rollers. The calf section kneads with oscillating pressure cycles rather than static squeezing, the foot section pairs reflexology rollers with a memory foam surround that molds to the foot, and small acupressure nodes in the armrests align with the reflexology points of the palms. Graphene heating warms the lumbar region.

Sixteen auto programs range from full-body routines to targeted care, and 35 manual programs, built from 11 single techniques and 24 combination sequences, let a user assemble a session from scratch rather than choosing a preset. Two-stage zero gravity reclines to either of two positions that raise the legs to or above heart level, and a space-saving track lets the chair recline fully with 3.5 inches of clearance behind it.
