COCOON | Verto Series
A rigid-walled portable spa that goes up in about fifteen minutes with two people and no tools. Pre-slotted high-density EPE foam panels lock into a self-supporting structure, and the open end is wrapped in a precision-fit sleeve — so there's no frame to bolt together and nothing to align carefully.
Rigid, not floppy
The body is dense EPE foam rather than a soft inflatable wall, so it holds a defined shape and feels solid to lean against. 10 cm-thick panels do double duty as a thermal barrier, shielding the water from ambient cold and reducing the energy needed to hold temperature. The exterior carries a rug-like woven texture — the reason it's called the Cocoon.
138 air jets and SyncJet™
An air bubbling system runs 138 jets around the shell, driven by a 700 W blower with three levels (300 W / 450 W / 700 W). The SyncJet™ unit integrates water intake, pressurisation and ejection into a single self-contained cycle for a smooth, gentle massage.
Controlled from the box or your phone
A compact all-in-one control box puts heating, filtration and sanitation on one panel. The MSpa Link 2.0 app manages the same functions remotely and schedules them, with auto-calculation that starts heating in time for when you actually want to get in.
Water care
A built-in UVC unit treats the circulating water with ultraviolet light — no added chemicals at that stage. The inner liner uses MSpa's M-SHIELD™ antibacterial fabric, an antibacterial finish that helps inhibit bacterial growth on the fabric itself, tested by the ISO 22196:2011 method. Circulation runs at 1,800 litres (about 476 gallons) per hour, and an on-screen reminder prompts filter servicing at least weekly while the spa is running.
Anti-icing
If the water drops below 33.8°F (1°C) in standby, the heater runs automatically until it reaches 37.4°F (3°C) — a safeguard if a cold snap arrives or the spa is left out in sub-zero conditions.
ETL approved
The spa is ETL listed — third-party safety certification from a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, which is worth checking for on any mains-powered appliance you're going to sit in.

Setting it up
- Power: plug into a properly located outdoor receptacle on a GFCI-protected circuit rated at 30 mA or less, and test the GFCI before each use. Do not use an extension cord. At 12 A the spa needs its own circuit.
- Surface: flat, smooth and able to carry the load. Filled and occupied that's around 3,000 lb over about 27 square feet — roughly 110 lb per square foot. Do not place it on a deck, balcony or raised structure without having the structure assessed. Setting it up on an uneven or unsound surface voids the warranty.
- Not on grass or dirt — debris will get into the water. Clear any sharp objects from under and around the spa first.
- Out of direct sunlight, to protect the shell and extend its life.
- Indoors: make sure the room is ventilated, or humidity will build up.
- Cold weather: fill with lukewarm water (not above 104°F), and use the ground mat and inflatable bladder. Do not operate the spa in ambient temperatures below 39°F (4°C).
Filter maintenance — plan for it
Inspect and clean the cartridge gently after every use, and replace it every 3–5 days, or sooner if it stays soiled or discoloured. Two cartridges are included; budget for regular replacements as a running cost.
Warranty
12 months on electrical parts and the spa pool. MSpa's manual specifies that coverage applies to the original purchaser only, ends on transfer of ownership, is valid only in the country of purchase, and excludes commercial use, improper power supply, chemical water damage, unauthorised modification, and damage from setting the spa on an unsuitable surface.
Who it's for
People who want a real hot tub without a slab, an electrician or a permanent commitment — renters, small yards, and anyone who'd rather pack it away for part of the year. The rigid foam construction is the middle ground between a soft inflatable and a fixed acrylic spa.
Before you use it
Never let the water exceed 104°F (40°C); 100–104°F is the range for healthy adults. Pregnant women should limit the water to 100°F and sessions to 10 minutes — soaking in hot water may harm a fetus. Do not use alcohol, drugs or medication before or during use; they can cause unconsciousness and drowning, and greatly increase the risk of fatal hyperthermia. Consult a physician first if you are obese or have a history of heart disease, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems or diabetes, or if you take medication. Do not use immediately after strenuous exercise. People with infectious illnesses should not use the spa. Children must be supervised at all times, and access must be prevented when the spa is unattended. Keep all electrical appliances at least 5 feet from the water. Prolonged immersion may be injurious to your health.
