The Osaki Ziva is a full-body massage chair built around a 2D roller mechanism driven by a brushless motor, which travels a 53-inch SL-shaped track from the neck down the back and under the seat to the glutes. A 2D mechanism moves the rollers up, down, and across the back and varies their speed and width; it does not vary depth (the 3D feature) or rhythm (the 4D feature), which makes it suited to daily relaxation massage rather than deep-tissue work. An automatic body scan detects shoulder height before each session and positions the rollers to match, with results that can be adjusted manually.

Twenty-four air cells at the shoulders, arms, calves, and feet apply compression in coordination with the rollers, with five intensity levels. Adjustable lumbar heat warms the lower back. A spring-loaded footrest extends up to 7 inches to match the user's leg length, with foot rollers beneath the soles working the acupressure points of each foot.

Zero-gravity recline raises the legs to heart level, and a space-saving track lets the chair recline fully with under 3 inches of clearance behind it. Controls are on a touchscreen tablet remote, and the chair includes Bluetooth speakers, a removable headrest, and a removable back pad that can be taken out for firmer roller contact. Upholstery is synthetic leather in black, brown, or taupe.
