The Curved Runner Elite Pro is a self-powered curved treadmill with sled push handles built in, so one machine covers conditioning running and resisted pushing work. There is no motor and no power cord. The belt moves because you move it, it stops when you stop, and it draws no electricity at any point — so there is no running cost and no outlet to plan around.
Pace is set by where you stand on the curve rather than by a console: forward to accelerate, centre to hold, rearward to slow and stop. There is nothing to press and no lag between deciding to change pace and the belt responding, which is what makes a curved treadmill suit interval work better than a motorized one.
Adjustable resistance is what turns it into two machines. Wound off, the belt runs free for sprints and conditioning. Wound on, it loads up for sled pushing against the handles, training the same drive pattern as a weighted sled without needing the floor space a sled track takes.
Key Features
Sled push handles — resisted pushing without a sled track
- Integrated push handles for driving against belt resistance.
- Loads the same hip and leg drive pattern as a weighted sled push.
- Needs only the machine's own footprint, not a push lane.
- Switch between running and pushing without changing equipment.
Adjustable resistance
- Multiple resistance settings, changed between efforts without stepping off.
- Low settings free the belt for running and sprint intervals.
- High settings load it for sled work and heavy pushing.
Self-powered — no cord, no electricity
- Entirely user-driven: no motor, no plug, no power draw.
- Place it anywhere on the floor without planning around an outlet.
- Nothing electrical to fail, and no running cost.
- The belt stops when you stop, with no run-on.
Slat belt on a curved deck
- Slatted running surface on bearings rather than a continuous belt over a board.
- Cushioning between the slats and the frame.
- The curved profile places footstrike toward the forefoot, which is the characteristic curved treadmills are built around.
- No deck lubrication schedule, unlike a motorized treadmill.
Quiet running
- No motor, so there is no motor noise at any speed.
- Bearing-mounted slats run smoothly under load.
No subscription, ever
- No account, no app, no Wi-Fi and no card on file.
- Every function works out of the box and keeps working.
- Nothing to renew, and no feature that switches off if you stop paying.
Running and Sled Work on One Machine
- Conditioning running. Resistance off, belt free. Sprint intervals, tempo work and warm-ups, with instant pace changes and no motor to wait for.
- Sled pushing. Resistance on, hands on the push handles. Drives the hips, glutes and hamstrings through a loaded push without a sled, a track, or plates to load and unload.
- Mixed sets. Because the resistance changes in seconds, a push block and a run block can sit in the same set rather than needing two stations.
Before You Order
- There is a learning curve. Self-powered curved treadmills feel unstable for the first few sessions because the belt answers every weight shift. Hold the rails and walk it before running it.
- Effort per mile is higher. Driving the belt yourself is harder than running on a motorized treadmill at the same pace. That is the point of the machine, but your usual numbers will not transfer.
- It does not fold. Allow a permanent floor position, with clear space behind for dismount and in front for pushing.
- Plan the delivery. This ships as a freight item, not a parcel, and is not a one-person move. Confirm door, corridor and lift access before ordering.
Care and Maintenance
- After each use: wipe down the handles, frame and belt surface.
- Regularly: vacuum beneath and around the frame, and keep the slats and side guards clear of grit, which is the main cause of bearing wear on a slat belt.
- Periodically: check frame fasteners and the resistance mechanism, and confirm the belt runs true and centred.
- No deck lubrication is required.
Safety Information
This treadmill has no motor, no emergency stop button and no safety key. The belt is driven entirely by the user and stops when the user stops, so control depends on staying in contact with the belt. Hold the handrails when getting on and off and while learning the machine. Step on from a stationary position at the rear of the belt rather than the middle. Keep children and pets away at all times, including when the machine is not in use, as the belt can be moved by hand. Do not exceed the maximum user weight stated in the owner's manual. Use on a flat, level, hard surface with clear space behind the machine.
Any speed, distance or calorie figures shown are estimates for tracking your own activity over time, not medical measurements. Self-powered curved treadmills demand more effort than motorized treadmills at an equivalent pace and load the calf and Achilles differently, and resisted sled pushing is high-intensity work. If you have a heart, joint, balance or mobility condition, or you have been inactive for a long period, consult a qualified physician before starting a new exercise routine.
