A zero-gravity preset lifts the head and feet together to take pressure off the lower back, and an anti-snore preset raises the head slightly.

A wireless remote controls each base, and a smartphone app offers the same controls from a phone. A child lock on the remote disables the buttons so a curious child cannot move the bed. The high-strength steel frame is rated for 750 pounds per side and stands on adjustable legs, and standard king headboards attach with bracket hardware, sold separately. Assembly follows an illustrated manual and requires no special tools.

Each 12-inch mattress has a medium-firm feel with a cooling gel-infused memory foam top layer over high-density support foam, enclosed in a removable, washable grey cover.
