The SF-C2 is a continuous climber: a revolving staircase rather than a pair of pedals, so every step is a real step onto a moving tread. The motion has no flight phase and no landing, which is what makes stair climbing a low-impact way to train hard — the effort goes into lifting your own bodyweight rather than absorbing repeated footstrike.
Fifteen resistance levels set how hard that lift is. Low settings give a steady climb you can hold for half an hour; high settings turn it into interval work. The frame is alloy steel and weighs 418 lb, which is what keeps a machine you climb on from moving underneath you, and it carries users up to 375 lb.
An electronic console tracks time, calories, heart rate, mileage and steps. Full-length handrails run both sides, and a reading rack and water bottle holder are built into the console.
Key Features
15 levels of adjustable resistance
- Fifteen settings, from a steady sustainable climb to heavy interval work.
- Adjusted from the console during a session.
- One machine suits a beginner building a habit and a trained user pushing intervals.
Continuous revolving staircase
- Real steps on a revolving tread, not pedals on levers.
- Each step is a full step up, the same movement as climbing stairs.
- Non-slip step surfaces.
- No flight phase and no landing impact, unlike running.
375 lb maximum user weight
- Well above the 250 to 300 lb typical of home cardio equipment.
- 418 lb alloy steel frame stays planted under a full-effort climb.
- Commercial-quality construction.
Full-length handrails
- Rails along both sides for balance while stepping on and off.
- Support available during faster-paced intervals.
- Give you something to hold while you find your rhythm at the start of a session.
Electronic console
- Tracks time, calories, heart rate, mileage and steps.
- Positioned at eye level above the top step.
- Readable while climbing without breaking stride.
Reading rack and water bottle holder
- Reading rack holds a book, tablet or phone at eye level.
- Water bottle holder built into the console frame.
- Both within reach without stepping off.
Alloy steel construction
- Alloy steel frame and housing in a black finish.
- Built for repeated daily use rather than occasional sessions.
- Levelling feet on the base.

Why a Stair Climber?
- Hard cardio without the pounding. Climbing has no flight phase, so there is no repeated landing impact the way there is in running. The intensity comes from lifting your bodyweight instead.
- Lower-body work and cardio at once. The stepping motion drives through the glutes, thighs and calves while your heart rate does the rest of the work.
- Scales with you. Fifteen resistance levels mean the same machine works for a first week of walking climbs and for interval sessions a year later.
- Nothing to learn. If you can climb stairs, you can use it from the first session.
Before You Order
- This machine weighs 418 lb. It ships as a freight item on a pallet and is not a two-person carry. Arrange help and confirm door, corridor and stairway access before ordering.
- It does not fold and it has no transport wheels for stairs. Choose its permanent position before delivery day.
- Check your ceiling height. You stand on a raised step and climb, so you need your own height plus the step height plus clearance above. Low basements and rooms with sloped ceilings are the usual problem.
- Allow floor space of roughly 52 by 47 inches, plus room behind the machine to step off safely.
- Maximum user weight is 375 lb. This is a structural limit, not a guideline.
Care and Maintenance
- After each use: wipe down the handrails, console and step surfaces.
- Weekly: check that the steps run smoothly and evenly, and that handrail and frame fasteners are secure.
- Regularly: vacuum around and beneath the machine, and keep the step mechanism clear of grit and debris.
- Periodically: check the levelling feet, particularly after moving the machine.
- Refer to the owner's manual for the full maintenance schedule and any lubrication requirements.
Safety Information
Hold the handrails when stepping on and off, and mount the machine from a stationary position. Face the steps at all times and do not climb backwards or dismount while the steps are moving. Keep children and pets away from the machine at all times, including when it is not in use, as the steps can move under load. Do not exceed the 375 lb maximum user weight. Use on a flat, level, hard surface with clearance behind the machine, and keep hands and feet clear of the step mechanism.
Heart rate, distance and calorie figures shown on the console are estimates intended for tracking your own activity over time. They are not medical measurements and should not be relied on for any clinical purpose. Stair climbing is demanding cardiovascular exercise. If you have a heart, joint, balance or mobility condition, or you have been inactive for a long period, consult a qualified physician before starting a new exercise routine.
