The California king footprint is 4 inches longer and 4 inches narrower than a standard king, suiting taller sleepers. The base raises the head up to 75 degrees and the foot up to 45 degrees for reading, watching TV, or sleeping with the legs elevated. A zero-gravity preset lifts the head and feet together to take pressure off the lower back, and an anti-snore preset raises the head slightly.

Quiet motors drive the adjustments, controlled by a wireless remote with programmable memory positions to save favorite settings and a one-touch flat button to return the bed to level; a Bluetooth app for iOS and Android offers the same controls from a phone. A dual-motor massage system on each side provides three modes with adjustable intensity. Under-bed LED lighting on both sides, with a timer, provides soft illumination for getting up at night, and USB-A and USB-C ports on each side keep phones and tablets charged.
