The Sven & Son Signature 12-inch mattress is a medium-feel gel memory foam mattress built in Jacksonville, Florida. The split king set includes two separate 38 by 80 inch mattresses that sit side by side to form a standard king, so each sleeper gets an independent sleep surface, and the pair is sized for split king adjustable bases where each side moves on its own.
The mattress is built in five layers. A quilted rayon and polyester cover with a slip-resistant bottom encloses an airflow gel layer and a cooling gel-infused memory foam layer that contour to the body and help move heat away from the surface. Beneath them, a comfort support layer adds cushioning, and a high-density base foam provides the structure and edge stability of the mattress. The medium feel is balanced for side, back, stomach, and combination sleepers.
The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, meaning it is tested for low chemical emissions and made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, or heavy metals. The cover is OEKO-TEX certified, and the fire barrier is fiberglass-free.
Each mattress ships compressed and rolled in its own box. It can be used the same day it is unboxed, and the foam reaches its full shape within 24 to 72 hours, sometimes longer in a cold room. No foundation is required, and the mattress works on a platform bed, box spring, slatted frame, adjustable base, or the floor.
