The Vacation Hot Tub

A seven-seat outdoor spa built specifically for properties where guests come and go — short-term rentals, guest accommodation and small hospitality settings. Everything about it is chosen for turnover rather than for a single household: fewer moving parts, simplified controls, nothing removable to go missing, and optional remote management so you can see and set the spa without being on site.

Please note: this spa is hard-wired, not plug-in. Confirm the supplied configuration before wiring — Buenospa's manual specifies 240 V / 30 A / 60 Hz as standard, with 240 V / 40 A for the optional electrical package, while the product spec sheet lists 40 A. Installation requires a licensed electrician, GFCI/RCD protection not exceeding 30 mA, and an emergency disconnect at least 5 feet from the spa and within sight of it.

Built to be left alone

• No headrests. Deliberately. Nothing to be pulled off, stained, degraded by sanitizer, or lost between guests — and nothing to reorder.
• One pump, one keypad. A single 3 HP pump drives all 44 jets, operated from a K300 "one pump" control panel with an Easy 4 keypad. Fewer controls means fewer ways for a guest to misconfigure the spa.
• Automatic shut-offs. The pump stops itself after 20 minutes and the lights after two hours, so a guest who walks away doesn't leave the spa running overnight.
• Smart Winter Mode protects the plumbing in cold weather with emergency heating.

Seven seats, 44 jets
Seven bucket seats with the 44 jets distributed across all of them, each position configured differently — so a group of seven all get a different massage without anyone needing to move. Colour-changing LED lighting is fitted.

Optional Wi-Fi remote management
With the Wi-Fi module preinstalled, the spa runs on Gecko's in.touch 2 system and its iOS and Android app: set water temperature, control circulation and lighting, and check status from anywhere. Buenospa states the system can manage up to 99 rental-unit spas at once — confirm multi-unit capability with them if you're running a fleet.

Construction
A WPS (Wellis PolyStyrol) frame with polyurethane reinforcement, Arctic MAX insulation, and a white acrylic shell. The cabinet is grey with HorizontSide™ UV-proof, wood-textured panelling — it reads as timber but won't split, grey out or need refinishing, which matters on a property you're not visiting weekly.

Water care note
This spa is specified with ozone. If you order Buenospa's optional in.clear bromine system instead, note that the manual states ozone and UV disinfection must not be used alongside it — the two are alternatives, not complements. Confirm which system ships with your unit.

Running it

• Weekly: check water chemistry (target pH 7.2–7.8) and clean the filter
• Monthly: soak the filter cartridge in treated water for 24 hours
• Every 3 months: replace the filter cartridge, and drain and refill the spa
• Every 2–3 months: full water replacement regardless of treatment
• Yearly: professional inspection · Every 3 years: professional electrical check
• Winter: winterize professionally if the spa is out of service, or leave Smart Winter Mode active. Improper winterization causes freeze damage and voids the warranty.

Siting and installation
Filled and occupied the spa weighs roughly 4,560 lb across about 51 square feet — near 90 lb per square foot. It needs a level base built to the manual's specification; no deck or raised structure without an engineer's assessment. At 86 inches square it won't pass through a doorway or a standard gate, so confirm the delivery route before ordering.

If this spa will serve paying guests, check your state and local health department requirements before it goes into service. Many jurisdictions treat a spa at a rental property as a public or semi-public spa, which can bring anti-entrapment drain cover requirements, barrier and signage rules, water-testing records, and permitting or inspection. Buenospa's manual also requires that any installation other than a single-family dwelling include a clearly labelled emergency switch.

Please note
No thermal cover is included. A cover is essential here: it holds heat between bookings and a locking cover is the standard safety barrier — likely a requirement at a property with guest access.

Warranty and returns
One year on structure, shell, major components, plumbing and labour, with an optional extended warranty adding a further year to each. 100-day return policy. Coverage is voided by improper winterization, use of non-approved accessories, opening the electrical control box by unqualified personnel, or damage from air introduced during improper filling.

Who it's for
Short-term rental hosts, guest houses and small hospitality operators who need a spa that survives constant use by people who didn't read the instructions — and who'd rather check the water temperature from a phone than drive to the property.

Guest safety notice — post this where bathers can see it
Water above 100°F can be injurious to health; never exceed 104°F. Pregnant women should not exceed 100°F — prolonged immersion at higher temperatures risks fetal harm. Consult a physician before use if pregnant, obese, or if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems or diabetes, or take medication. Alcohol, drugs or medication before or during use may cause unconsciousness and drowning. Do not use immediately after strenuous exercise. Do not use the spa alone. Shower before entering. Limit sessions to 15–20 minutes and get out if you feel dizzy, drowsy or nauseated. Children overheat much faster than adults and must be supervised at all times. Keep electrical appliances at least 5 feet from the water. Never operate the spa if a suction fitting is broken or missing. Keep the spa covered and secured when unattended — an uncovered spa is a drowning hazard.
