The VacuStar is a treadmill enclosed in a vacuum (negative pressure) capsule, combining walking or running with infrared heating and, in the Cryonick configuration, a cold-air program.
The client stands inside the capsule wearing a neoprene skirt sealed under the chest. A vacuum motor then draws air out of the chamber to 0–30 mBar, so the body below the seal works under reduced ambient pressure while the belt runs.
Infrared heating reaches +45 °C (+113 °F). The Cryonick configuration adds electric cold-air cooling to −20 °C (−4 °F) — no liquid nitrogen, no cylinders, no gas supply contract and no refill logistics, so heat and cold alternate inside one session on mains power alone.
The belt has automatic incline, with a 600 mm (23") running surface.
The capsule measures 2312 mm (91") long by 1320 mm (52") wide by 1625 mm (64") high, with an 18" door opening, and weighs 350 kg (771 lb), 425 kg crated. Power is 230V/50Hz or 120V/60Hz drawing 2 kW in Grand and 4 kW in Cryonick, on a 20 A line.
Control is by touchscreen — 10.1" on the Simple versions, 24–32" on Grand and Cryonick. Grand and Cryonick add Wi-Fi with Netflix, Radio Garden, Facebook and YouTube, an automatic update system, and iPhone or Android control paired by QR code.
US deliveries include installation and staff training.

Before You Buy
Confirm the maximum belt speed. It is not published by the manufacturer, and it is the first question a running client will ask.
Plan the route and the floor. 2312 mm long, 425 kg crated, crate 1870 mm tall. Check door widths, corridor turns, lift capacity and floor loading before delivery day.
A 20 A line is required. Confirm the circuit with an electrician, and note consumption doubles between Grand and Cryonick.
The extended warranty has a 10-day window. Coverage extends to three years only if elected within 10 days of purchase. The standard term is one year.
Check the neoprene skirt quantity and sizing on your quote — the entry configuration ships with a limited quantity, and the skirt is what makes the capsule work.
Operator training matters. The capsule combines applied heat, applied cold on the Cryonick, a sealed vacuum enclosure and a moving inclined belt. Installation and staff training are included on US deliveries; confirm the scope and who delivers it.
Screen clients as you would for any heat, cold or pressure modality, and agree the intake protocol with the manufacturer before the first session.
